We sell online on eBay, Poshmark, and Mercari and wanted a way to consolidate all of the platforms. We had found crosslisting sites before, but we would still have to go in and delist items when they sold on other platforms. I was browsing Reddit one day looking to see what other people use and saw someone mention Treecat.
I checked it out at https://www.treecat.io/ and was excited to see they do the relisting automatically. I also saw that there is not a monthly fee like most resellers. You pay per item that you sell using the service. I dug into it a bit more and found it really helped me sell more items and spend less time doing it!
Treecat is designed to streamline the reselling process by allowing you to maintain all your inventory across eBay, Mercari and Poshmark in one easy-to-use dashboard. It costs 60 cents per item sold using Treecat, but there are ways to bring that cost down to 50 cents, including using the affiliate code BBSAVE.
Here are some of the pros and cons of Treecat:
Pros:
- Sync from eBay is very quick and easy.
- Copying listings from eBay to Mercari and Poshmark is easy.
- Taking down items that are sold on other platforms is automatic.
- Has an auto-relist feature to refresh old listings.
- Monitors quantity across platforms and can automatically relist sold items still in stock on Mercari.
- Only pay if you sell an item that you crosslisted, relisted, or shared in Treecat.
- The more items you sell each month, the lower your per-item fee is.
Cons:
- Listing from scratch on Treecat to eBay requires more work than using the sell similar feature on eBay.
- Cannot add store categories or promoted listing rates in Treecat when listing to eBay.
- When you auto delist and relist using Treecat, you lose the eBay listing ad rate.
I’ve found Treecat support is very open to feedback and constantly makes improvements to the software. They offer regular live streams reviewing different features of Treecat, and they are currently working on an auto share feature for Poshmark.
Overall, we are loving having Treecat in our reselling tool box.
